ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Quentin, a French-Australian Visual Creator based in Sydney.

With 10 years of experience as a graphic designer, motion designer, illustrator, and artist, I bring a diverse set of skills to the table. In my artistic pursuits, I explore familial bonds, children's fears, and the concept of home. If you're curious to learn more about me, please explore this page—you might be pleasantly surprised.

I'm open to collaborating on various projects to bring your visual ideas to life, combining your desires with my vision.

FRENCH BOY

Oulala. You might have guessed it from seeing my various works, but my culture is essentially French. From Asterix comics to Metal Hurlant magazines, from Pialat's naturalistic cinema to Gaspar Noe's mind-bending trips, from Gericault's masterful paintings to Louise Bourgeois' spiders, and so on and so forth. I am often reminded that I am French in the way I revolt and live everything with passion.

FOOTBALL (not soccer)

It's when you wake up at 4 am on Mondays to watch your team play a simple league match that you realize this sport is a more significant part of you than you thought.

While it often begins in childhood on the family couch as a way to spend time with an absent father, it doesn't stop there. We idolise players and experience joys as intense as the sorrows can be painful. These overwhelming emotions, I've only truly felt them through football, and only with my team. Thanks, Dad, and come on OM (Olympique de Marseille)!

FAVOURITE OBJECT

No, it's not a Pokémon from my collection; it's my knightfish, the one in one of my favorite paintings, Bosch's triptych "The Garden of Earthly Delights." Since I was little, this painting has fascinated me. How could Bosch imagine all these creatures around 1500? I always research the mysteries surrounding the artist and this painting whenever I come across content on the subject.

COLLECTIONS

Comics, retro gaming, toys, or anything related to Batman. This could be the longest section of my website, considering how much I have to share. Culture is above everything for me, far above experience or technique.

I mainly collect to share and to remember. If an artist is to shape the present and the future, they must first understand their past.

MATE

After a 2-month stay in South America, I brought back memories of places like Iguazu and experiences like the River vs. Boca football game, but also a habit: drinking Maté.

This journey, particularly in Brazil, transformed into an exhibition blending photos and sketches from my travel notebook.
